Happy weekend! Lake effect snow showers will develop today as that colder air spills across the lake–as we discussed in our Region Weather WEEKEND broadcast the other night, La Porte County will be the main focus for perhaps a few inches of snow–but flakes will be flying elsewhere with a localized slushy coating to an inch. In terms of November lake effect events, this is not a big one by any means. We’ll hold in the 30s for highs both today and Sunday with lingering lake clouds and sunshine away from the snowbelt. Overall, a much different feel this weekend than the past few weekends, but we’ll get through it!
