Rain, rain, go aw…no wait, we need the rain and we’ll get it today as an area of low pressure swirls through the Region. The axis of heaviest rain from this system should stay just to our west, but we’ll still see waves of showers and pockets of heavier rain, especially this afternoon. Highs today will bump into the 60s. We turn cooler on the back side of this system tonight into the day Wednesday with lingering rain eventually coming to an end. Lots of sunshine is expected for the rest of the week with cooler highs in the upper 50s to near 60.
