The cooler air is here and it will be sticking around for the foreseeable future as we lock into a northwest flow through the weekend. Expect sunshine today to give way to clouds this afternoon. A few brief showers are possible (potentially mixed with graupel) with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Area-wide frost is a good bet tonight with a freeze in spots as well. Expect breezy conditions to continue through Friday with highs in the 50s. Another wave of showers will move through late Friday as a reinforcing shot of cooler air arrives for the weekend, nothing too cool, but just enough to keep our temps from bouncing back into the 60s or 70s.
