Good Tuesday morning everyone! Another seasonably cool day is in store with highs in the upper 50s this afternoon. We’ll see lots of sunshine, especially in our western counties, but lake effect clouds will persist to the east. A shift in the wind direction is likely later today into tonight that will help bring a band of lake effect rain back into the Region. We could see on and off heavy rain and even a few rumbles of thunder where that lake effect band sets up. The lake effect rain will linger into Wednesday before drier air quickly moves in as high pressure takes control. This should shut off the rain and bring back some sunshine to northwest Indiana!
