Grab the flannels, pumpkin spice everything, and turn on the furnace–the first day of Fall will certainly feel like it around the Region. (that’s rare!) Sunshine along with lake effect clouds can be expected today as that gusty north wind blows across our warmer lake waters. Highs won’t do much today as they struggle to rise into the low 60s. Tonight we’ll have mostly clear skies with a few high clouds floating through with chilly lows back into the low 40s. Areas near the lakefront will remain near 50 with that warmer water helping to keep them from the coolest of nights for the next month or two.
