Our leftover downpours continue to rain themselves out in northern Newton and Jasper counties as well as Starke County where the rain has been coming down heavy for some. The rest of us are viewing these 47,000 foot thunderheads as they slowly drift south. We may develop a few additional downpours off of these storms as there’s a weak area of lift swinging in here from Illinois–so don’t rule a few overnight downpours out just yet. Otherwise it’s another muggy night with lows in the upper 60s. Areas of fog are possible in this soupy airmass as well.
