Scattered Rain, Rip Currents Saturday

Our last wave of rain with the current pattern will move through today bringing on and off rain throughout the day. Drier air will begin to move in from the north late this evening helping to erode our showers overnight. As we clear out tonight and tomorrow, our wind will turn a bit gusty out of the northeast. Anytime we have a northeast wind, Lake Michigan gets rather choppy and as a result we’ll have a high risk of rip currents tonight and all day Saturday–so keep that in mind if you’re hitting the beach tomorrow. Best to stay on the sand.
