A large complex of showers and storms is moving in from the west this morning and will bring some rain to the Region late morning. This complex is expected to begin to fade as it moves east and away from its main source of energy–so anything we can get from this first round will be a bonus. We’ll get some breaks through the afternoon before another round of scattered (not for everyone) showers and storms develops later this afternoon into the evening. Our rain potential will continue tonight as a frontal boundary moves through the Region. Our chances are there, but the modeling isn’t impressed with much rain at all for NWI–so again, we’ll take as much as we can squeak out from these clouds today!
