We’re keeping a close eye on the potential for a few strong to severe storms this afternoon as the cold front moves through the Region. Ongoing showers and storms in central Illinois near Peoria this morning will eventually translate east into our increasingly unstable air. The primary threat would be strong wind, but our hail and tornado threat, albeit low, is not zero. As the line slowly moves through, our timing would be anytime between 1pm and 6pm CT.
