Dangerously cold temps are expected tonight into Wednesday at the core of this arctic airmass slides through the Great Lakes. Wind chill values will approach -20 at times overnight and will hover in the -5 to -15 range Wednesday.

We’ll break out of this Thursday before another shot of arctic cold arrives Friday and Saturday, although this looks to be the worst of the cold tonight.

It’d be a good idea to let those faucets with exposed pipes to the outside drip overnight.
