High pressure will subtly influence the Region over the next two days bringing sunshine and cool temps in the 50s. The wind will be blowing off the lake bringing a stream of lake effect clouds and a few lake effect showers today as well, but only for a few of us.
Areas of frost are expected tonight as skies clear out for everyone with temps dipping into the low to mid 30s. This will set the stage for a chilly Wednesday morning. By afternoon temps will recover with variable clouds and highs into the 50s.
Our next system moves in Thursday with thickening clouds and showers returning. The rain will be on and off Thursday night and Friday as well as the system wraps up and brings renewed rain chances through the Ohio Valley. Take a look at the next 3 days:
