High pressure will slowly lose its grip on the Region over the next 48 hours. This will allow a slow-mover of a system to our west to finally get some legs and bring much needed rain back to northwest Indiana this weekend.
How much rain? Not a lot, but we’ll take anything at this point. Most of the activity is expected to be showery in nature with downpours possible Sunday into Monday as the system further evolves–but it should be spread out over the course of several days which is exactly what we need.
