As this stretch of beautiful weather continues, our mainly clear skies will set the stage for a picture-perfect space station flyover this evening! Set an alarm and bring the kids out, this is a good pass this evening!
At 7:59pm CT sharp–look to the south-southwest sky. The International Space Station will rise up to an angle of 45 degrees (in the sky compared to the horizon) and will fade in the east-northeast sky 5 minutes later.
If you haven’t seen a flyover before, it will look like a bright light that moves at a consistent speed across the sky–like a very distant plane or a moving star.
Enjoy this weather and the flyover this evening!

It would be nice if you would add CDST OR EDST on your post of special events, like the space shuttle sighting!
