Our line of anticipated storms continues to further develop to the southeast and has now formed into an elongated line stretching from northern Michigan down through southwestern Iowa. This line will continue to advance east towards the Region this afternoon bringing the threat for damaging winds, large hail, and heavy rain. A brief tornado still cannot be ruled out.

These storms are expected to further develop to the southeast into Missouri as the atmospheric “cap” erodes in those areas. This should bring a solid line of storms through northwest Indiana over the next few hours.
