The cold front is now dropping through Chicago and is also kicking off a renewed line of showers and a more potent storm to our west. We’ll likely settle into passing downpours in Lake, Porter, and La Porte counties with the severe storm weakening but bringing one last round of heavy rain to Newton and Jasper counties. After this we’ll enjoy more refreshing air moving in with clearing skies tonight behind the front!
