Our line of storms continues east towards the Region and will bring pockets of strong wind through in addition to heavy rain and lightning. Wind gusts of 50-60 mph have been common to our west with this line as it taps into a pretty stout area of jet stream energy.

With rising instability due to daytime heating, this line will likely continue through NW Indiana across the state this afternoon. Damaging winds are the biggest threat.
