You may have noticed the sky wasn’t quite AS blue as it could be. That milky white “haze” is from wildfire smoke blowing in on our northerly flow!
We’re not expecting air quality issues as the bulk of it will remain suspended–but we’ll likely see several waves of “haziness” as we head throughout the week.
Of interesting note, yes, some of this is arriving from fires way out in Oregon and California, but a good majority of it can be blamed on expansive fires burning in western Ontario just north of Minnesota.
