A frontal boundary will slowly move east through the Region today into the early portion of our Thursday bringing scattered showers and storms, especially this afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could be on the stronger side, but widespread severe weather is not expected.

Heavy rain and lightning will be our primary threat from the storms that develop. This front will bring a brief dose of refreshing air (lower humidity and a breeze) later Thursday into Friday!
