After a busy set of weather days with widespread storms, tornado damage just west of us in Illinois, and thick humidity–our local atmosphere will begin to relax today as high pressure settles in. Humidity will continue to drop by the hour today on gusty northerly winds. Clouds will break for some sun with more sun expected later today as the high pressure really builds in. Highs will be on the cooler side as they struggle to reach near 70.
