Happy weekend! You made it!
Rain will be scattered around the Midwest with no real rhyme or reason for where it falls. We’re void of a well-defined frontal boundary to focus showers and storms along it, so there are various clusters of showers and a few storms that will traverse the Plains and Ohio Valley the next few days.
In terms of rain locally, our best chance will be Saturday and then again on Monday with most of the rain expected to avoid the Region on Sunday. Here’s one way it might pan out:
Saturday does NOT look like a washout by any means, just scattered showers around with another wave potentially working in later in the day.
Temps are highly dependent on cloud cover and rain chances, so we’ll go slightly cooler Saturday with highs in the upper 60s to near 70.
Sunday with drier weather expected we’ll expect temps to reach into the low to mid 70s.
Either way, our spring-like pattern is back and here to stay as it looks like the next 7-10 days stay nice and mild! Enjoy your weekend everyone!
