We’re on the warm side of an area of high pressure and this time of year, that’s usually not a problem! Winds will becoming quite gusty today as a low pressure squeezes towards us from the north. Gusts over 40mph are possible this afternoon.
That wind will be bringing in much warmer air. Guidance puts us in the mid and upper 70s today, but we’re going for 80 with lots of strong May sunshine and that strong wind. Either way, we’re in for a warm day!
We’ll remain mild tonight with lows in the 60s.
Sunday will feature increasing clouds with a rain chance later in the day as moisture begins to approach from the southwest. Highs will still make a nice run at or above 80.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
