This won’t be a big event folks, BUT the timing with the evening rush hour could get a little tricky.
Snow showers will move in this afternoon and will continue through the evening as a quick-moving clipper moves through the Region.
We’re still expecting a coating up to 2 inches–not a big deal in and of itself, but with persistent snow expected for the evening commute, we could see some slick travel that coincides with that evening commute.
Snow will wind down quickly as our winds shift, but lake snows will likely continue for a while longer in the snowbelt of SW lower Michigan with a few snow showers possible tonight in LaPorte County.
