Our storm system is going as forecasted with heavy snow well northwest of us and NW Indiana situated well into the “warmer” part of this storm. From here winds will become a bit gustier as colder air moves in. Temps are heading south today and will slowly tumble from the 40s this morning into the mid 30s by evening.

We’ll get a break from our steady rain today as this system wraps up and we’ll turn to drizzle and areas of light rain at best. While they turn snowy to our northwest, we’ll remain ALL RAIN through afternoon before we start to mix with some wet snowflakes this evening into tonight as colder air gets here.
Still not expecting much if anything in terms of accumulation.
