A large-scale ridge will build into much of the western and central portions of the US over the next few days bringing warmer-than-average air to the Region. The only below-average temps will be confined to the eastern US and especially the Deep South–but eventually this warmer air will head east–likely into mid December.
While this doesn’t mean record warmth for us locally, we’ll breakout into the 40s with the potential for a few 50 degree days by the middle of next week.
