First of all, happy Mother’s Day to all our Region mothers! We wish we could bring you better weather today, but the extended forecast is where all the good news is right now. Meanwhile for today, we’ll see a round of heavy rain that moves through this morning as a quick, but potent area of low pressure moves through the Region.
Winds will ramp up by midday into the afternoon with on and off downpours. Temps are in the 50s this morning, but will quickly fall back into the 40s and then upper 30s later today with a brisk wind.
As quickly as this system moves in, it will move out with decreasing winds and much quieter conditions overnight. Our anticipated warm up is still on the way later this upcoming week!
