Here’s the Saturday morning update to the severe weather risk areas for Saturday afternoon and Saturday night from the Storm Prediction Center. The changes over yesterday’s risk area were to expand the “likely” risk threat further east and south into Indiana and further south in Illinois as well.
We’re still looking at an afternoon threat that extends into tonight as the cold front will likely move through sometime between the 10pm and 1am hours with a line of potent storms. Still some questions as to how these storms transition INTO northwest Indiana and how strong they’ll be given our on-going rain and thunder this morning.
We’ll pass along another update early this afternoon.
