ROUNDS OF RAIN:
Several rounds of rainfall are on the way as a few waves of low pressure roll along a frontal boundary that will set up overnight.
Round 1:The first round of rain arrives tomorrow (Wednesday) with rain expected from late morning/midday into the afternoon. We’ll likely clear out a bit tomorrow evening into Wednesday night.
Round 2: Round two arrives Thursday with a warm front and a few rumbles of thunder possible. Once the front moves through our temps will rise later Thursday through Thursday night. We’ll start Friday on the spring-like side!
Round 3: Our final round of rain will pass Friday with another storm chance–some of which may be on the strong side. Still some time to sort out the details, but we’ll turn rainier around the Region beginning tomorrow!
In terms of rainfall amounts, we’ll likely see 3/4 of an inch to over an inch of rainfall by the time this frontal boundary finally moves through on Friday. Here’s how that may shape up:
It will come with a spring-like warm up that we’ll be feeling by late Thursday, Thursday night, into early Friday. A strong cold front will bring a final round of rain (and potentially strong storms) before much COLDER air arrives later Friday into the weekend! Stay tuned for updates!
