A Wind Advisory remains in effect for our lakeshore counties of Lake, Porter, and La Porte through Friday as strong winds behind this Alberta Clipper will gust in and around 50 mph at times. Our strongest winds will occur between 2am and 10am before they begin to subside by Friday afternoon.
Significant lakeshore flooding and erosion is likely with our high water levels and waves that will push 16-18 feet at times! For the rest of us, we’ll see rain/snow showers turn to mainly snow showers Friday morning with strong winds and temps in the 20s and low 30s.
We will QUICKLY return to calm later Friday as winds subside and skies clear out setting the stage for a beautiful northwest Indiana weekend!
