The Leonid Meteor Shower will peak tonight (Sunday night) with what is usually considered the best meteor shower of the year. It’s not heavily promoted because it usually falls during colder weather and thicker cloud cover this time of year–both of which we have right now.
If we can squeak some clearing in here (there are pockets just west) we could see anywhere from 5 to 15 meteors per hour. Best to head out early tonight before moonlight takes over.
Meteors will still be possible through late November, but tonight is the peak for the Leonids.
