Hour-By-Hour 4th of July Rain Chances

Scattered showers and storms continue to develop in the heating of the day and will continue to move east throughout the afternoon. Here’s a look at what the radar might look like early this afternoon:


Pop-up showers and storms should begin to fade as we head into the evening hours as we begin to lose that daytime heating:


By the time you’re heading out for firework displays,¬†celebrations, or festivals, our radar should begin the clearing process with only a few downpours still roaming NWI:


And by firework time:


Remember, this is just a computer model, but I tend to agree with it today! Here’s a breakdown of the best chance of pop-up storms–likely between NOON and 5pm:
