RAINY NIGHT AHEAD, TURNING TO SHOWERS THURSDAY:
Moderate to heavy rain moving through ALL of NW Indiana right now (10pm) with a few thunderstorms moving south of a North Judson to Rensselaer line. I’m not expecting any severe weather overnight, but waves of rainfall, some heavy, will continue through the early morning hours. Our rainfall will become more showery in nature during the day tomorrow as much cooler air continues to move in. Anywhere from a half inch to 2 inches of rain are possible through tomorrow afternoon.
We’ll then begin to turn our focus towards our next system set to arrive this weekend. Models are indicating some heavy rain with this storm as well and I tend to agree. Too early to get into amounts, but several additional inches of rain are possible through Monday.
We’ll continue to follow these storms and pass along anything you need to know!
