A storm system will move in overnight with the potential for some sleet, light freezing rain, or snowflakes. Temps will rise towards daybreak and any wintry mix will quickly turn over to rain showers tomorrow morning. I’m not anticipating any major travel impacts although we may have some slick roadways overnight–mainly for those roads left untreated.
Here’s a look at our latest computer model run of the incoming storm system:
Friday will feature a rainy start but showers should end around midday giving way to just a passing shower by Friday afternoon and evening. For all those with St. Patty’s Day plans Friday night–we’ll have some breaks in the clouds and temps in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s. Rain will have cleared by then!
We have a decent warm-up in store for the weekend with temps set to return to the 50’s ahead of our next storm system! Looking long-term–we may have a real nice warm up late next week out ahead of an even stronger system. We’ll continue to fine-tune those details!
