Reality has returned to the Region after an unseasonably warm January and February. Temps will be at their coldest tonight and tomorrow night as many areas drop into the 10’s. Lake effect snow showers will continue through daybreak in mainly Porter and LaPorte counties and the increased cloud cover may keep their temps in the 20’s. Either way, we’ll remain on the “much colder” side of things until our next storm system races into the central Plains on Sunday. This will switch our wind direction around and as a result–our temps will rebound into the 50’s and potentially 60’s for highs Sunday and Monday!
