Strong Winds Friday

After a quiet day today with high pressure in charge, we’ll quickly turn our attention to our anticipated wind-maker that arrives tonight and tomorrow. A potent area of low pressure will zip through the Great Lakes bringing a widespread zone of very strong winds! 50-60 mph winds are likely across the Region. Winds will ramp up overnight with strong winds for the Friday morning rush hour and into the early afternoon before wind will begin to back off later in the day. Power outages are likely with these kind of wind.
