MONDAY MORNING SNOW UPDATE

Good snowy Monday morning everyone! Winter is showing us, well, it’s not over. Snow has been persistent overnight but the main band of heavier lake snow has stayed out towards South Bend. We’ll continue to see snow today with eyes on that heavier band to the east as it may shift into LaPorte County this morning before everything pushes east later today with a wind shift. An additional 1-4 inches are possible for most of us in Lake, Porter, and LaPorte Counties, but where that main band ends up we could get slightly higher totals–the exception rather than the rule. Overall temps are helping us out too as salt is effective. Travel will be tricky in spots, but not terrible.
