NEXT UP: BRIEF ROUND OF SNOW
Good Sunday morning everyone! While the Carolinas wake up to heavy snow and wind, we have quiet weather on our Sunday morning with bright sunshine and a fresh lake effect snowpack. This sun won’t last long however–our next storm system approaches from the west today.
This should be an easy one. Snow will move in later this afternoon into the evening and will continue at times overnight. Snowfall amounts will remain light–likely falling in the half inch to inch range by daybreak. We’ll keep our eye out for any banding that takes place (as we see to our west), but overall this should be out of here tomorrow without a lot of fanfare.
An active pattern begins this week though as numerous storm systems come our way with our “flow” really ramping up again. Let’s discuss the next 10-15 days in our weekly Region Weather LIVE broadcast tonight at 5pm CT.
