RAIN, GUSTY WINDS, FEW STORMS

Rain is on the way today as an area of low pressure develops to our southwest and rolls through later tonight. Out ahead of it we’ll have a few passing showers this afternoon with a more organized area of rain and storms expected to roll through late this evening. We could have a strong storm or two with damaging winds as the primary risk with these late evening storms before cooler air moves back in tomorrow. In terms of rainfall we’re looking at a healthy soaking with the late evening rain with a half inch to an inch for most.
