BIG TEMP DIFFERENCE THIS MORNING

Clear skies vs lake effect clouds…they make a big difference in our temps. Our relatively warmer Lake Michigan helps too. The difference shows up on our temp map this morning as we have single digits to the west with 20s in Porter and LaPorte Counties! We won’t warm much today with low 20s for highs across the Region as this arctic airmass moves through!

STAYING COLD TODAY

Temps won’t do much today, but at least we’ll have bright sunshine! A few lake clouds will float around with the flow off Lake Michigan and a flurry or two can’t be ruled out–otherwise it’s just a cold January-esque day with highs in the low 20s. Wind chills values will remain in the single digits for much of the day. Bundle up!
