The band of heavy lake snow is now north of Chicago but will begin to make its way back towards and eventually through the Region late this morning through early afternoon. This will bring another round of snow–potentially heavy at times–before it settles to our east late this afternoon into the evening. We’re not looking at huge amounts from this round as it will shift east pretty quickly, so the snow won’t fall for too long. An additional 1-3 inches looks likely for now before we quiet down tonight. Snow will continue out towards LaPorte County into the South Bend area tonight into early Tuesday.
