Saturday Rain & Storms On The Way

RAIN AND STORMS MOVE IN

Good Saturday morning everyone! We have some much-needed but poorly timed rain on our way today. Our forecast video from yesterday remains on track–here’s a recap of what we’re expecting:

THIS MORNING – Scattered rain and storms move in from that line to our west. There will be dry hits in between the downpours through early afternoon.

THIS AFTERNOON – The same line that stalled over us will reignite with more showers and storms this afternoon through the early evening. There will likely be more coverage of scattered showers and storms this afternoon than this morning.

THIS EVENING INTO TONIGHT – A washout. The low gets going down to our south and heads our way with a large slug of moisture. Steady rain will be heavy at times with embedded thunder in spots.

SUNDAY – That slug of rain will be with us early Sunday before conditions gradually improve later in the day. Improve is a tough word because we’ll have winds that ramp up and gust over 40 mph at times with the rain. Temps will also tumble from the 60s during the early morning hours into the 50s for much of the day with 40s possible in spots during the afternoon.
