Weekend Rain, Storms, and Wind

Happy Thursday everyone-I hope your morning is off to a good start. We’re in store for a beautiful day ahead with morning clouds giving way to lots of sunshine today. Temps will settle perfectly in the upper 60s to low 70s on a southeast breeze. Quiet weather continues tonight with a few clouds and lows in the 50s.

Attention then turns towards our first strong storm system of the season. A deep area of low pressure will get going later Saturday into Saturday night right over the Region.

The result will be rain and storm chances that increase during the day Saturday with periods of rain continuing through Sunday when this system departs. We’ll have a warm, rather humid day of Saturday out ahead of all of this with highs well into the 70s. By Sunday, we’re looking much cooler with highs struggling to get out of the upper 50s!
