Good Thursday morning everyone! We have a beautiful day ahead of us–watching an area of low stratus clouds for some of you this morning, but that should erode giving way to a mix of sun and clouds today. Humidity will be manageable with highs pushing into the mid and upper 70s for most. We should top out near 80 the further south you are located.

Attention then turns towards a weekend storm system that could bring a passing shower or storm Saturday (as we talked about last night in our LIVE broadcast). Beyond that is a shot at cool, comfortable, Fall-like air with highs not getting out of the 60s Monday and Tuesday and lows in the 50s. We’re not alone in this as much of the eastern US north of the I-40 corridor will get a welcomed break from the heat and humidity of summer.

Don’t worry summer lovers, the warmth will return in the long range with plenty of summer days left!
Enjoy your day everyone and thanks for subscribing to Regionweather.com!
