Happy weekend everyone–I hope you’re enjoying your Saturday. My goodness, the heat and humidity is ON today with heat indices pushing 100 as expected as of this post. You can’t help but notice a giant complex of storms to our north. While it looks like this will miss us–and the main portion will–a boundary will slowly sink south off this sucker and will likely help trigger storms in our neck of the woods this afternoon into the evening. Lots of discrepancy with our model guidance in terms of how organized storms can get locally. The results range from severe storms with flooding to just a few passing downpours.
