The Weekend Weather Pattern

This is going to be a close call this weekend, but we’re still thinking most hours will be dry. There are numerous rounds of storms that will develop to our west (as we’re seeing now) and any one of these could hold together and move into the Region in a fading phase this weekend–but we’ll stick with the optimistic HRRR model shown here which keeps the rain west…and just west…of us this weekend. We’ll keep you updated–but this would be the weekend to keep an eye on the radar as we’ll be doing! Outside of the low end rain risk is the HEAT! Low 90s are expected today with uncomfortable humidity once again pushing heat indices into the 100 degree category again. Tomorrow we should have a bit more cloud cover as this rain to our west spreads those clouds in. Highs would be slightly cooler Sunday, but still humid.
