Our heavy rain-producing storms are moving in with SOAKING downpours and lightning in southern Lake and northern Jasper counties right now. A larger area of torrential rain will move in from the west soaking the entire Region with rain over the next hour. Localized flooding is possible with this as we highlighted this morning. I’m not overly concerned with a severe threat but the risk is there with this initial storm moving in. Once we get beyond 3pm CT, I’m not looking at much of a severe threat locally. It’s more the rain rain rain!
