Good Monday morning everyone–we’ll squeak in a dry day today with lots of high cloudiness off of a large swirling storm system to our west. This storm system has a TON of moisture with it! As a result, widespread heavy rain-producing storms are expected across a good portion the of Midwest and southern Plains today. This moisture will eventually reach us tonight and tomorrow and will stick around for much of the week. As a dad that enjoy his lawn, I’ll just say this once: “We could use the rain” (while staring out over the lawn with a cup of coffee that says #1 Dad in hand)
