It’s that time of year when you see a lot of “cooler near the lake” in the forecast as the lake breeze does it’s thing. Any days that feature a light wind or a wind off the lake will bring that cooler air inland. Today will be one of those days as temps will be cooler near the lake for much of the day…however, a weak frontal boundary will drop south across northern Indiana later this afternoon. This will help to enhance the lake cooling with a temp drop expected even well inland by evening! If you’re heading out this evening, you’ll want to grab a jacket with those chilly temps driving south.
