Hi everyone–just an early heads up as we begin to plan out our weekend and more specifically our Sunday. Signs continue to point towards a widespread threat for severe storms on Sunday from Michigan down through Texas and the Deep South. An expansive line of storms is expected to develop sometime Sunday midday-early afternoon along a strong frontal boundary working southeast. This isn’t a guarantee locally and the highest threat will be down towards the Tennessee Valley–but as we discussed in our broadcast, we have good dynamics and the atmosphere will be ready to go Sunday.
