STRONG WINDS, ESPECIALLY SATURDAY

The area of low pressure responsible for the big warm up Friday and storm chance has a lot of wind energy with it. The result is a large area of strong surface winds Friday and especially Saturday. Our winds will be out of the south, southwest on Saturday but they’ll likely be quite gusty. Gusts could go over 50 mph at times during the day before colder air and a switch to the northwest takes over with easing wind Saturday night into Sunday. It would be a good idea to secure those loose objects in your yard and around your house today or tomorrow.
