Series of Wind-Makers On The Way

SEVERAL WINDY SYSTEMS LINING UP

It’s that time of year when the jetstream gets involved in our day-to-day weather again. The contrast between the arctic cold to the north and the spring-like warmth to the south this time of year also helps to build some bigger storm systems with stronger low pressures. The result? Wind. We have several windy systems heading our way. The first dose of wind arrives tomorrow as colder air rushes in behind the storm system that moved through today. We’ll have a bigger wind-maker on Friday as a strong Alberta Clipper zips through the Great Lakes. Then attention will turn towards next week when a strong late-Winter storm system will bring widespread wind through the Ohio Valley in addition to severe weather and a big temp drop featuring snow on the back side of all of it. Lots coming at us the next 10 days–we’ll keep you updated!
